Félicitations au midget mineur du Clarence Rockland Crush, qui ont remporté leur troisième tournoi consécutif avec une victoire de 3-2 en prolongation contre leurs rivaux, les Golden Knights d’Ottawa West. Avec un recul de 2-0 après deux périodes, les joueurs ont travaillés avec acharnement pour niveler la marque avec seulement 2 minutes à faire en temps réglementaire. L’équipe n’a pas perdue de temps et la victoire fut acquise dans la première minute de prolongation.
Avec des victoires contre les Braves de NGS, les Golden Knights d’Ottawa South, les Bears de Smith Falls et les Blues de Gloucester/Orléans, l’équipe termina au premier rang de la ronde préliminaire.
L’équipe tentera d’acquérir un 4e championnat en tournoi alors qu’ils participeront au Kanata Blazers Capital Winter Classic du 6 au 8 janvier.
La famille midget mineur Crush voudrait féliciter et remercier les organisateurs et tous les bénévoles pour leurs excellent travail pendant tout le tournoi.
 

Congrats to the Clarence Rockland Crush Minor Midget, who have won their third tournament in a row after defeating their league rivals, the Ottawa West Golden Knights 3-2 in overtime. Trailing 2-0 after two periods, the boys battled hard in the third to tie the game with only 2 minutes left and sending the game into overtime. The team did not waste any time and scored within the first minute of extra time.

The team finished 1st in the round robin, with wins against the NGS Braves, Ottawa West Golden Knights, Smith Falls Bears and the Gloucester/Orleans Blues.

The team will try to go 4 for 4 in tournament play when they participate in the Kanata Blazers Capital Winter Classic Tournament held from January 6-8.
