The Crush Major　Peewee team are the 2016 Cornwall Fall Classic Tournament Champions.

The team recently competed in their first tournament of the year during　 28 - 30 October

The tournament began Friday October 28th with the Crush meeting up with the Loups Des Collines from Outaouais. Even though the Crush heavily outplayed and outshot their opponents during the game, they fell 4-1 in their first　game of the tournament. Friday night the team had to regroup and the result was far better as they beat Renfrew　by a score of　6-2. The next day the Crush　were back at it and were playing the tournament host team the Cornwall Colts, after a dominating performance the Crush were once again victorious with a convincing 5-1 win.　 The team had no further games to play on　 Saturday and with one final round robin game to be played Sunday morning,　　it was　 a bit of a waiting game to see how the remaining teams would do to determine the　round robin standings heading into the final day of competition's. Sunday morning the Crush entered their final round robin tied for first overall with the Loup Des Collines, only the top two teams would advance to the Championship game.　With their　final round robin game against Alexandria, the Crush needed a　win or tie to punch their ticket to the Championship game.　 After a hard fought battle that went back and forth, the Crush came out with a 3-1 win and entered the Championship game as the Top Seed. The Championship game scheduled to take place Sunday afternoon was now between the Clarence-Rockland Crush　and the Loups Des Collins. It was a rematch　of their first game of the tournament with high hopes of a better result. The puck dropped on time and both sides appeared nervous in the beginning　as neither wanted to make a mistake.　 The Crush scored first making it 1-0　in the first period and it looked like they would be heading into the 2nd with a lead but Outaouais　came back to tie the game 1-1 towards the end of　the first period. The 2nd period seen many great plays from both teams and several key saves from both goaltenders,　 the period ended without any further scoring.　 Heading into the 3rd period still tied 1-1, the Crush hit the net early to take the lead 2-1. Things were looking pretty good up until the 4:17 mark where the Outaouais scored making the score once again tied at 2-2.　A couple minutes later the Crush regained the lead by strucking again making it 3-2 with just 55 seconds remaining. After calling a timeout, the Loup Des Collines where not able to gain control of the puck and when the buzzer sounded, the sticks and gloves went flying as all the Crush players rushed the ice to celebrate their Championship win.

Le Crush Peewee majeur sont champions du Classique automne de Cornwall 2016

L'équipe participait à son premier tournoi de la saison les 28, 29 et 30 octobre denier.

Le tournoi débutait vendredi le 28.  Le Crush rencontrait les Loups des Collines.  Bien que le Crush a dominé dans le jeu et au chapitre des tirs au filet, les Loups se sont sauvés avec une victoire de 4-1.  En soirée, l'équipe c'est regroupé et as gagné contre Renfrew par un pointage de 6-2.  Le lendemain, le Crush était de retour en action contre l'équipe hôte, les Colts de Cornwall.  Après une autre performance dominante, le Crush sortait vainqueurs, 5-1.  Le prochain match avait lieu seulement le dimanche matin, soumettant l'équipe à une attente des résultats des autre rencontres au tournoi à la ronde.  Pour leur dernier match à la ronde, le Crush rencontrait les Glens d'Alexandria.  Un match nul permettrait au Crush d'avancé à la finale.  Après un match âprement disputer, avec du jeu enlevant, le Crush sortait vainqueur pour une 3ième partie consécutive, 3-1.  Ceci donnait la première place au Crush et les honneurs d'être l'équipe local pour la grande finale.

Dans un match revanche pour le Crush contre les Loups des Collines, l'équipe pouvait venger la défaite du premier match.  Les deux équipes semblaient nerveuse pour débuter la partie, ne voulant pas faire d'erreur et créer une opportunité pour l'adversaire.  Le Crush a marqué premier en 1ère période et croyait bien terminer cette période avec l'avance, mais les Loups on nivelé la marque en fin du tier.  La deuxième période ne produit aucun buts, malgré de l'excellent jeu des deux équipes stoppé par deux gardiens en grande forme.  Le Crush a attaqués tôt au dernier engagement pour prendre les devant 2-1.  Tout roulait jusqu'à 4:17 quand les Loups on à nouveau nivelé le pointage.  Mais les joueurs du Crush ne se sont pas effondrés et leurs efforts furent récompensés avec 55 secondes au tableau.  Et ce, pour de bon.  Après un temps d’arrêt, les Loups se virent incapable de reprendre le contrôle de la rondelle.  Au son de la fin du match, les bâtons et les gants volaient et les joueurs du Crush sautaient sur la glace pour célébrer leur Championnat.
